    Default Application started via HTTProvider does not stop automatically

    I am using a HTTProvider to get some Application properties. If this Application is not already started, it is started by the IVHost.getApplication() method. But now, the Application will not automatically shut down when no more clients are connected after the timeout period. Is there any way to enable this?

    if (params.containsKey("app") && params.get("app").size() > 0) {
    	appName = params.get("app").get(0);
    	application = vHost.getApplication(appName);
    	app = (application != null) ? application.getAppInstance("_definst_") : null;
    } else {
    	appName = null;
    	application = null;
    	app = null;
    }
    Thanks

    Hello,

    Have a look at this module:

    I do not want to manually shutdown the Application, but rather let Wowza handle this.

    Anyway, I figured it out. It seems the timeout period is only started after the last client disconnects, which is kind of logic
