    Default Transcode Add-on for CUDA with Linux OS

    Hello,

    We plan to purchase a hardware server as a transcoding server for video streaming.

    At first, we are interest in utilizing NVIDIA CUDA-base graphics card in server to help accelerate the transcoding speed.

    However, from http://www.wowza.com/forums/content.php?310, it seems that CUDA is not supported on Linux, is it?

    Anyone around here has been using CUDA encoder for Transcoder add-on?

    Hi there,

    As far as I know this documentation is up to date.

    The alternative to NVIDIA CUDA is Intel Quick Sync acceleration. See these articles:
