Thread: Always need to set all LiveStereamPacketizars on Origin?

Default Always need to set all LiveStereamPacketizars on Origin?

On the toturial it would configure Streams/LiveStreamPacketizers property value to
    <LiveStreamPacketizers>cupertinostreamingpacketizer,smoothstreamingpacketizer,sanjosestreamingpacketizer</LiveStreamPacketizers>
If I limit the player to support rtmp protocol only, would the configuration still be need?
And what's the different between /LiveStreamPacketizers and /HTTPStreamers of Application.xml?

You don't need any of those packetizers if you are only going to do RTMP playback.

LiveStreamPacketizers create the live http streams from the source stream. One is needed for each http stream type that you want to support.
HTTPStreamers are what the players communicate with to retrieve the packetized stream.

In any type of configuration (live or vod), removing the HTTPStreamers will prevent playback. For live streaming, removing the LiveStreamPacketizers will prevent live playback.
