seeing this error every 2 seconds in our logs
TranscoderWorkerVideoDecoder.handlePacket[_defaultVHost_:WPTlive/_definst_/myStream]: Source stream frame rate could not be calculated. Using default source stream frame rate: 29.97
The encoder is a Liveshell Pro box, which works great when we use it directly for live streams, not transcoding. It should be set to 29.97, or maybe 30, keyframes every 2 seconds. This has been going on for a while, the stream is running fine, even the tanscoded streams. It's just filling up logs and it may be one reason our server's memory use is gradually going up.
looking a the source, I get this
but since I have no access to the encoder, I have to take the user by his word that he's got it all set up properly.
<video src="mp4:myStream_source" system-bitrate="2139136" width="1280" height="720">
<param name="audioBitrate" value="91136" valuetype="data" />
<param name="videoBitrate" value="2048000" valuetype="data" />
<param name="videoCodecId" value="avc1.100.31" valuetype="data" />
<param name="audioCodecId" value="mp4a.40.2" valuetype="data" />
should I be concerned about this? Can we fix this? Is the hardware not suitable for the transcoder?
When using wirecast, the transcoder mountpoint doesn't have these issues.
