    Exclamation StreamType live-record Playback Problem

    Hey Wowza Gurus!

We currently have the following setup:

    1. StreamType is live-record
    2. Transcoder addon is enabled for MP4 conversion

    1. User records a video.
    2. After recording, there are options for "Play" and "Restart Recording".
    3. When user clicks the "Play" button, nothing is displayed.

The Play button works however when the StreamType is "default" so I'm guessing that the content is not being played because the streamName does not exist or is not live anymore on Wowza's end.

How do we go about fixing this while still keeping the Transcoder? Any help to the right solution would be very much appreciated!

    Thank you very much.

When the application is configured as "live" or a variant of live, the application is unable to play video on demand files.
You will need to create a new application for playing the content you have recorded using the "live-record" application which can remain configured to use the transcoder.

Please find a tutorial for creating a video on demand application here,
