    Post Hls streaming issues other streams(rtmp,rtsp) are ok

    We have successfully streaminmg from ipcamera.
    Ip camera itself act as encoder and send streaming information to wowza server.
    Ip camera send rtp over udp to server.

    Ipcamera Sending stream in this format

    resolution :640*480
    Fps : 15
    Gov length : 10
    bits per sec : 256kbps

    our issue is that hls stream sometimes stops and video moving like faster.

    What are the audio and video codec of the stream?

    IOS require H264 video with a baseline profile. And AAC audio is suggested over mp3.

    If you use mp3 then 128kbs, stereo is best.

    With mp3 audio on HLS you should also use a sample rate of 44100hz.

    So for mp3 the settings should be 64 or 128kbs, 44100hz stereo

    Actually we are getting the stream in ios

    we are streaming only video no audio (video codec is h.264 baseline profile)

    the problem is videos are moving in a faster approach.

    You might try using a higher key frame interval, something like 25 fps. Also use a GOP length of 1 to at most 4 seconds, 2 seconds is usually good.

    On top of that you may benefit from adding a sort buffer to the Streams/Properties container in the Application.xml file.
    <Property>
    <Name>sortPackets</Name>
    <Value>true</Value>
    <Type>Boolean</Type>
    </Property>
    <Property>
    <Name>sortBufferSize</Name>
    <Value>2000</Value>
    <Type>Integer</Type>
    </Property>

    Can you please describe what you mean by "videos are moving in a faster approach"?

    Thanks salvadore
    videos are moving in a faster approach means videos are showing like fast forwarding

    That's what I thought you meant. So try what I suggested, and see if that fixes your issues.

    Hi,
    Just so that you're aware, you will not be able to play this stream using the Microsoft Silverlight player as it requires both audio and video, if only one is detected the stream will not play.
    The Microsoft Silverlight player is a HTTP client which you may also be testing with.

    Please update us when you have tried the suggestions made by Salvadore.

    Thanks
    Jason

    we are not using microsoft silver light streaming.Our requirement is to stream for rtmp,rtsp and hls.we are facing proble in hls streaming others are fine

    Actually we cannot change the GOV length of camera.we can only change its fps and bit rate

    There is no problem when restreaming from IP camera.that means publishing the camera.stream file with IP camera rtsp url

    The problem occures when IP camera sending rtp streams to an UDP port in Wowza server . in Wowza server we are publishing the sdp file generated from ipcamera
