Thread: Not a live streaming why recording?

    Default Not a live streaming why recording?

    I use ubuntu 12 installed wowza media server 3.5 I launched on flash media encoder

    rtmp :/ / my_ip / live
    Streams: Live
    But when I try to view the video stream is recorded not live why? Thanks

    PS I have no graphical interface terminal but only if there's something I want to change, type commands? Thanks

    Try editing [install-dir]/conf/live/Application.xml and change Streams/StreamType to live-record so it looks like this:

    		<Streams>
    			<StreamType>live-record</StreamType>
    You may also want to take a look at LiveStreamRecord which provides more control over recording live streams to video on demand files. This feature enables you to control the live stream recording process using a web-based user interface, HTTP URL queries, or programmatically.
