Default null pointer exception in logs

Hi - I'm running 3.6.12.12 and just activated a Transcoder license. After restarting my wowza services and attempting to run a live stream I'm seeing this error in the logs:

    2013-10-10 10:19:27 CDT comment server ERROR 500 - LiveStreamTranscoderFactory.createInstance: java.lang.NullPointerException - - - 347.508 - - - - - - -

The encoder was Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2.

    Server is RHEL 6.4 x86_64 - java 1.7.0_25

    /usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/conf/live/Application.html:

    <StreamType>live</StreamType>
    <LiveStreamPacketizers>cupertinostreamingpacketizer,smoothstreamingpacketizer,sanjosestreamingpacket izer</LiveStreamPacketizers>
    <HTTPStreamers>cupertinostreaming,smoothstreaming,sanjosestreaming</HTTPStreamers>
    <PlayMethod>none</PlayMethod>
    <Transcoder><LiveStreamTranscoder>transcoder</LiveStreamTranscoder></Transcoder>

I can connect to the stream ok using flash player. I'd like to use vlc to test the transcoder but I'm not sure what URL to open in this case? I tried Network Stream URL rtmp://my.server.com/live/mystream but it's still showing as VP6.2 Video (Flash).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Josh

It looks like you are still trying to play the source stream.

    Try a URL like this:
    rtmp://my.server.com/live/mystream_320p
The "_320p" being one of the trans-coded streams that is output from the Transcoder.

I noticed your incoming stream is VP6.2 which is not supported by the Transcoder.

Take a look at this tutorial:
