I'm trying to connect WOWZA to our Fedora-based digital repository service. Fedora stores digital assets in a rather complicated directory structure and stores files without extensions. My goal is to:
1. Create a symbolic link to a video asset within the WOWZA datastreamStore directory
2. Generate a simple HTML wrapper to set up the JW Player
I'm able to get the link created across the servers (connected on the same NFS) as seen here: http://libwowza.neu.edu/datastreamSt...ams/187282.mp4, where 187282.mp4 is a symbolic link to a file within the Fedora data directory.
When I try to pass this file to JW Player, I get an error indicating that the file ID was not found on the server: http://libwowza.neu.edu/test2.html, using this simplified code:
<title>JW Player 6</title>
<div id="player">Loading the player...</div>
I'm not sure why this doesn't work...
Any help would be more than greatly appreciated!
