    Default Unable to establish loopback connection

    Hi,
    When I tried to start Wowza on the server, I got such error: Unable to establish loopback connection.
    After checking for a while, I found I cannot visit the server self by 127.0.0.1 (or localhost), But I can visit it by 10.0.0.10
    I also asked the server administrator, he said he even didn't know why it happened..

    Is there any alternative that Wowza don't need loopback connection to start? (I have set conf/Server.xml and conf/VHost.xml IPAddress to 10.0.0.10)

    I don't think Wowza requires ability to reach loopback, but you should change conf/Server.xml and conf/VHost.xml HostPort IpAddress back to "*" in all places
    <HostPort>
    <IPAddress>*</IPAddress>

    Hi, setting IpAddress to "*" causes the same error

    Hi,

    Can you check your Wowza server startup logs and to which [IP : port] configuration your server is binding?
