Default Mux/Combine separate H.264 video from RTSP source and AAC audio from RTSP Source

    Hi There -

I'm looking for a consultant / developer that can help me out with the following:

    Detailed Description:
I have a network of 20 plus Wowza servers setup. Some are load balancers, some are just used for low latency camera control preview streams, some are just origin servers, many are origin / transcoding servers and many are edge servers.

My typical streaming involves pulling H.264 video from IP cams (Sony, UBNT, Axis, Panasonic…) via RTSP. Some, have audio enabled. If the camera doesn’t support AAC audio, I pull G.711 audio and transcode to AAC. In many locations, I can’t put the microphone or the line audio source is not near the camera. In this case, I use a separate AAC audio encoder. My setup works perfectly to pull via RTSP and stream H.264 video and pull via RTSP from the AAC encoder and stream audio only…

However, what I need is a consultant / developer to help me build a solution to ingest the RTSP AAC Audio Stream from the audio encoder and the separate RTSP H.264 Video Stream from the IP Camera and Mux / Combine them together. In some cases, I might need to use the audio stream source on multiple Video streams.

    Operating System:
All of the servers have lots of horsepower and RAM and are setup with CentOS 6.4. Most of the network has been updated to the latest Wowza release 3.63.02.

    Additional Software/Network/Integration requirements:
This can either be setup and configurable by web interface, text / XML… We can discuss this part.

    Timescales/Delivery Date:
I’d like to get a solution like this working within the next month if possible. Sooner if possible.

    Budget:
We are conscious about costs but not expecting a consultant to work below an acceptable rate. I imagine the cost / budget will be determined when we discuss the details and how elaborate the setup is. I have a few other projects I need assistance with as well.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

We can try to look at this task and "dynamic stream..." task.
Of course, we had experience both with transcoding and stream class.

    Hi,

Let me be honest with you: Muxing is not an easy task to do with Wowza. But I'll happily discuss the issue with you and look for a good solution. You can contact me by email or on Skype (ID: karelboek)
