Default Integrating Wowza Media Server with Unity3d

The application i am currently working on is Unity 3d app that should work on mobile devices (android and ios). I need to implement live streaming from the devices to the Wowza Server and vise versa.
I would like to know if this is possible and if it is, can it be done directly from the Unity3d app, or by integrating Unity3d in native mobile apps (android and ios).

Any help will be much appreciated.

Wowza provides a standalone encoder application called GoCoder which is capable of publishing a live stream to Wowza from an iOS device. This and many other live streaming apps demonstrate the capability to reliably publish live video from iOS and Android.

As to app feature integration, it's most certainly possible, and quite common, however, you will need to develop a custom, live video encoding and publishing module within your own application. I am not aware of any iterative Wowza support documentation or process for this as we focus primarily on the video server offering.
