I have the following issue.
Using Wowza 3.6.3 with Monthly license and ndvr addon. It has one stream with 3 bitrates sent with FMLE, the ndvr is configured using the above steps, with a window of 1 hour.
The addon works, I’ve tested all streams one by one with the provided test player and it works with manifest.f4m, also with playlist.m3u8 in hls compatible devices.
Then I created smil file for adaptive streaming, this also works on the hls devices, but here the problem appears.
For the past two weeks I started to use the feature continuously and after aprox. 2 days of streaming, the link with the smil stops working.
If I try to open the link:
http://streamserver.exampledomain.co…ylist.m3u8?DVR
it returns switch chunklist file like bellow
Code:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-VERSION:3
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=1500000
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=500000
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:PROGRAM-ID=1,BANDWIDTH=3000000
If click any of the links to the chunklist it tries to load it but it does not return the chunklist(the session is not expired I’m doing it in the same moment when it is returned).
Inside the error log this line is logged
Code:
HTTPStreamerAdapterCupertinoStreamer.service: Request timeout: 8000
If I open a link without smil, it returns the chunklist for everyone of the 3 bitrates.
In the interval before 2 days of continuous working, the smil link works as it should, returning chunklist.
Regards,
