Default Issues with UDP Port sharing

    hi guys,

I am running Wowza Media Server 3 for Amazon EC2 build7101

I have just enabled port sharing on my instance, and tried using ffprobe to check my incoming UDP.
    I got an error
[udp @ 0x2280de0] bind failed: Address already in use
    udp:// Input/output error

is this supposed to work? Obviously I have wowza service running and listening on the same IP and port, and I was under impression port sharing would allow me to listen to the same source using a different application. Did I understand it wrong?

Hi, can you please explain what you are trying to do, and what results your expecting?

Port sharing is for ingress as apposed to playback. You will need to playback a stream using the same port it is published or restreamed on. It allows different udp sources to be used with the same port.
Different URLs, on the same port.

    Hi salvadore.

I suspect this issue may be related to this one

I will try to resolve the first one and see if this one is resolved.
