    Default x264 - Sync Issues - Both Mac & Windows - Wirecast 5

I've done extensive testing with many variables and have narrowed down my problem to common variables.

When I stream to a Wowza Server via Wirecast 5 (using churchstreaming.tv) with latest updates and all.... I have sync issues when using x264 encoding.

    Current settings:

    Encoder: x264
    Width: 1280
    Height: 720
    Frames: 30
    Avg bit: 1200
    Quality: 4
    Profile: baseline
    Key: 150

    Chan: stereo
    Target: 128 kbits/s
    sample: 44.100kHz

When I use x264 settings: the audio leads EVERY TIME!

It doesn't matter: I've changed systems - Mac, PC, different networks......

    Always leads....

    ---

When I change the settings back to H264:

The audio and video is in sync.

    Any Ideas???

    Hi,

Given the fact that the stream is working fine when using H.264 video codec, it is possible that the encoder is not sending the correct timecodes when using the x.264 video codec.
