Default Urgent : RTSP live streaming no chunk adding

    Hello

I am creating an android app to show live camera output using wowza server. It is working good when server is wowza 3.6.4 trial version on one system, but not working on wowza 3.6.2 on another system. it is paused after publish message, no chunk adding message as I seen on working system.
I have copied the application.xml file to another system. What is that I missing..?
    this is my application.xml file

    Hi,
note: this forum part is for 4.0 related issues. if you have questions about the 3.x series scroll down to the Forum 3 questions. It would make it easier for the overview.
@Admin, best to move this article to the 3.x forum board.

    ontopic:
i dont see anything strange, but i think its best to compare your 2 servers and application files & setups. it should work on both of them. 3.6.4 compare to 3.6.2 doesnt have that much impact on differences. or upgrade the other version to 3.6.4 or 4.0

Yes, the firewall can block the communication between your Android encoder application and your second Wowza server.

The server messages are till publish, after that it is not showing chunk adding....

Do i need to add rule in firewall for 1935 port?

    Hi,
Are you saying that you can see that the stream is getting published to Wowza?
Can be played using the RTMP player found in the [Wowza-Install]/examples/ directory?

If the issue is that you're simply not getting the packetization for the HTTP clients, it may be that you have not restarted the server since editing the Application.xml file.
Yes, you will need to have port 1935 open in your firewall for clients to connect to the server to play the stream.

Thanks for the reply. the new update is, my app is working on another machine too if we use local IP to send stream to server.

Are you saying that you can see that the stream is getting published to Wowza?

no, the windows which shows comments of wowza server, shows till INFO Stream publish ....mp4, then INFO rtsp publish [session id] aftre that nothing, like waiting for something.
it should show messages for livestreampackatizer etc.

    Hi,
Please can you open a ticket with Wowza support so that we can take a look at this in more detail.
When sending an email to support@wowza.com please ensure that you give a detailed description of the issue, attach a zipped copy of the [Wowza-Install]/conf/ and [Wowza-Install]/logs/ directories for analysis and include a link to this thread for reference.

    Thanks,
    Jason
