    Default SMIL Files created on Default content directory only

    Hi,

    I created an SMIL file using Wowza Streaming engine manager on VOD application. I had set the content directory to a specific path. But when i create an SMIL file using the GUI, its getting created on default content directory only. How can i fix this?

    This worked for me in my test. What is the directory path you are trying to use? Did you see any warnings in the application after changing paths? If the path is wrong of the directory can not be found there will be a warning at the top of the manager window.

    There are no warnings. I have changed the directory to an existing folder. It is a windows machine.

    Is it possible that you are creating the .smil file at the server level as opposed to inside the specific application?
