    Default Still need JConsole?

We've migrated to 4.0.1 on one server and can see in the manager that we can restart or delete a vhost application, but can't just stop it. So it looks like we still need JConsole. Am I missing something?

    Hi,

The restart option currently just shuts down the application, the same as the jConsole option does. It will restart if there is a player or publisher connection.

That would be great, but when I click on restart:
"Are you sure you want to restart application: sfm_str?

Warning: All users for this application will be disconnected."

    Clicking OK gives:
    Application has been restarted

There is still a Restart button, no mention of stopping or needing to start.
ConnectionCount still shows the stream being up.

    Other ideas?

    Hi,

If the players immediately reconnect then the application will immediately restart.

If no players reconnect to the application then clicking the restart button will simply shut down the application.

    Roger.
