    Default subtitles with encrypted stream

When Wowza encrypted vod stream (drmvod) is used, what is happening with associated subtitles, are they encrypted too? In our environment subtitles are attached in the streaming url - "?wowzacaptionfile=Subtitle.ttml" extension.
Our problem is in diacritic signs, we can't see Croatian diacritic signs in encrypted streams (Verimatrix encryption), but we can see it in non-encrypted streams.

Any news about this? It's pretty urgent for us, any ideas would be helpful.

I'm not sure, but I think the captions in the .ttml file are injected into the stream by Wowza, so they would be encrypted.
