Default Streaming Engine Manager Keeps going away

I boot the machine, and start Wowza as a service.
Wowza crashes or stop running ocassionally (havent found why yet)
    Then I re-start Wowza as a service.

The videos stream, but stream engine does not come back up on port 8088. Restarting Wowza makes no difference, I have to reboot the machine to get it back.

Any ideas whats going on how to fix?

    Thx

When the machine crashes, do you try to restart the manager itself? You can do so via [install-dir]/manager/bin/startmgr.sh. To address the initial problem (crashing), do you have corresponding access logs for when your server is crashing? Can you post a block of it here?

The for letting me know how to start just the mgr, that is helpful. I ended up upgrading the server and the issue went away.

    Thx for the help.
