    Default Embedded quicktime with rtsp

I am having an issue where I can play a file over rtsp via quicktime in the external player (file>open url), but it will not play if I embed the player on a webpage.

Has anyone had issues like this before?

First, can I ask, is there are a specific requirement to use Quicktime embedded in a browser? It is not ideal for desktop streaming. For streaming to the desktop we recommend Flash or Silverlight. A good place to start is JW Player which supports RTMP and HLS (cupertino) streaming

Thanks for the reply Richard. I read here: http://www.wowza.com/forums/showthre...ticast-support that wowza doesn't support rtmp multicasting, but rtsp instead. That's the reason for using quicktime vs another player.

Okay, I see. In that case take a look at this Silverlight player that handles multicast streams.
