Default wowza gocoder android 1.0.32 not conecting to stream engine external ip address

I am using wowza gocoder on samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N9005 with wowza gocoder android 1.0.32 also using stream engine 4.03,
i can get gocoder to work perfectly when the phone is connected to the wireless connection on the same network as the stream engine, when trying to use from the 3g/4g network can not get go coder to connect , i have forwarded the port 1935 on the router to the correct ip address of the stream engine.
I have tried this on iphone 4s with wowza gocoder 1.4.0 with the the 3g network on external ip and every thing works perfectly ,so the ports are open and streaming perfectly.
can someone kindly help me with this issue to resolve this

    many thanks

    Hi,
We have been tracking similar issues on other Samsung Note devices. Can you provide more info about your devices?
Android OS version, exact product model number. You'll find this info in the settings/about screen.

One thing is that the Android version does use, is a different connection protocol than the iOS version. iOS uses rtsp while Android uses wowz (an rtmp like protocol).
If your firewall somehow turns away this protocol then that would obviously be an issue.

    hi tanks for your response
    device name = Samsung note3
    device model = sm-n9005
    android version = 4.4.2
    gocoder version = 1.0.32

is there a way to allow this protocol through the firewall , port 1935 is responding via the router and firewall

    Hi,
Please open a support ticket so we can help diagnose in more detail.
We'd like to see what the device does when connecting to the Wowza Streaming Engine.

Send an email to support@wowza.com and attach a zip archive containing
    [install-dir]/conf and [install-dir]logs folders.
Quote the URL to this thread post for reference purposes
Let us know when it's sent so we can look out for it.

Was any solution found for this problem? We are also having trouble with a Samsung Note 3.

Has anyone heard of a fix for this yet? Has there really been no fix on this since it was brought up in May? Anyone have a work around idea?
