Thread: Live feed scheduling

    Default Live feed scheduling

I have a live streaming setup with Adobe FMLE3.2 fed to Wowza 3.6 running full time.
What I would like to do now is, during certain hours of the day, switch the video source from FMLE to a local video file looping, keeping viewers connected during this transition.
The player side is an STB and not a programmable player such as ones written in Flash, so it would be ideal for the URL to remain unchanged.

I would appreciate pointers on how to enable this.

    Thank you.

It sounds like you could benefit from your Stream Scheduler from our Module Collection. This will allow you to schedule (per date/time) your streams and switch between VOD assets and live streams.
