Thread: Fastest playback time for 10 sec videos VOD cupertino

Question Fastest playback time for 10 sec videos VOD cupertino

We are trying to achieve the fastest start to playback time for cupertino videos. These are all VOD and are around 10 seconds long. We are using the mediacache plugin serving files from amazon S3 on an ec2 wowza on the vods3 application.
We have tried various settings in the HTTPStreamer > Properties but have not seen significant improvement. sometimes it actually made it worse even though the chunks were smaller.
<!-- Properties defined here will override any properties defined in conf/HTTPStreamers.xml for any HTTPStreamer loaded by this applications -->
We want to get the fastest playback start time for VOD cupertino, any tried and true settings to get close to 1 or 2 second start time on iphone?

    Thank you

When creating a ticket please include a detailed description of the issue and some content files for us to test with. We will also need a zip file containing the following directories:

Please do make sure you provide logs which show Wowza server starting.

If you are not sure how to get this information please see the following tutorial

I also recommend using the Apple HLS specific packetization Properties.
