Default Add media cache source by Http Type

    Hi guy,
    I follow http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....Compute-Engine

to use wowza in Google compute engine.

I install wowza media server in Google Compute engine success and use Wowza Streaming Engine to test Wowza 4.0.

    I have a link to download a mp4 file. i.e: http://myWebServerIP/TestVideo.mp4

I try to add http://myWebServerIP/TestVideo.mp4 to media cache source and add a new VOD Edge Applications to test play.

When open the Test Players and press start button I get status message: Source stream or file could not be found or access was denied.

Other my "Validate Configuration"-> "Enter a sample content file path/name you want to stream:" always auto reset to http/mycompany.com/media/sample.mp4

    How to fix the issue??
    Thank you.

    Hello

Please share your MediaCacheSource configuration (from MediaCache.xml file) and how you are trying to playback via the player.

    Thanks,
    Matt

It may be best to zip up your conf/ and logs/ and send it to support@wowza.com for further review. Please include the information regarding your source server (where you are hosting your VOD assets for MediaCache) and reference this post as well.

    Thanks,

    Matt
