Default Are you storing the videos in wowza streaming engine during live streaming?

    Hi,

Are you storing the videos locally in wowza streaming engine during live streaming?(i.e what ever live video is streaming, are you storing anywhere temporarily in wowza?). If it stores, please let me know where it will be stored.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
If you're recording the stream it will be stored in the content directory allocated to the application. The default storage directory is the [Wowza-Install]/content/ directory.
When you have enabled packetization for HTTP clients, the stream will also be stored in memory for each client type. By default this is 100 seconds (10 chunks each with a 10 second duration).

This can be reduced by altering the packetization settings for each client type.
How to configure Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming packetization (sanjosestreaming)
How to configure Apple HTTP Live Streaming packetization (cupertinostreaming)
How to configure Microsoft Smooth Streaming packetization (smoothstreaming)
How to configure MPEG-DASH packetization (mpegdashstreaming)

    Regards,
    Jason
