Question Adobe encoder breaks primary but not secondary

I have the following setup: adobe media encoder streams, through one fiber link, to 2 identical wowza servers, 10 hours a day, for 3 days now. The ping between the encoder and wowza is about 3 ms.

Twice in this time period I witnessed a strange event: the primary stream is cut but the secondary goes on. No errors are shown on the adobe encoder screen.

Any idea why? Did anyone ever noticed something similar?

    TIA

    Hi,
Unfortunately there isn't a lot to go on here. If there aren't any failure messages in the Flash Live Media Encoder's log tab (and nothing in the log written to disk)
then it's worth looking at the access logs for the Wowza server in question. Look under [install-dir]/logs/wowzastreamingengine_access.log*
See what messages are written for the times this has happened. You'll need to look closely at the publish and unpublish events for the stream.
You can post your findings from the the logs here.
