Default Maximum connections limit origin to edge

    Hi,
I have a question concerning connections limit. I'll manage live streaming for client who wants to limit the maximum number of simultaneous connections to 1000. My main server with Wowza is located on Amazon and I want to limit number of simultaneous connection to 1000 on it. Data transfer is more expensive on Amazon than on cdnsun.com and I'd like to use the server on Amzon as origin and cdnsun.com as edge. It is not possible to limit number of simultaneous connections on cdnsun.com so I'd like to limit it on Amazon. What I'm not sure about is that if limit of the maximum number of simultaneous connections on Amazon will work if it will be only origin server? I hope I described it precisely. Thank you for any suggestions.

    Hi.

You can set the maximum number of simultaneous player connections that the application will support on your origin application. The edge (if defined as an AppType LiveEdge with StreamType of liverepeater-edge) does not provide this setting.
