    Default How to block camera stream?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to block RTSP stream by sending some commands pragmatically to Wowza?
    Please advise how can we achieve this.
    Thanks,

    Hello Shrini.

    You could do this with an HTTPProvider. Here are a few example HTTPProviders

    You will need the Wowza IDE:
    Wowza Eclipse Software Update

    And here is the IDE User Guide which includes creating HTTPProviders:
    IDE User Guide

    Then you can use this module which includes an RTSP handler as reference:

    If you feel like you need help with this you can post a request to the find a consultant forum

    Kind regards,

    Hi Salvadore,
    This looks like Java oriented using Wowza IDE. I am aiming to call something like below from ASP.NET GUI (C#) to control the camera stream.

    Wowza Object()
    Object.Connect(user name, password)
    Object.GetStreamFiles()
    if StreamFile stream is running
    Object.DisableStream(Stream File name)
    Object.Disconnect()

    Is something like this possible?

    You can take a look at this interface as a starting place:
    How to add a web service interface to Wowza Media Server and integrate with .NET (dotNet)

    Again, if you require assistance with this you should seek a consultant

    Kind regards,

    Salvadore
