Thumbs up Want to change Segment Duration and Key Frame

Hi We have Wowza Streaming Engine Delivering our Live Event to the Akamai CDN. We have been seeing quality issues and have been asked to change the Segment Duration and Key Frame intervals.

To do this at Wowza, do we need to enable Transcoder Add-on at Wowza...

What are the respective settings in the Wowza for the Segment Duration and Key Frame intervals.

Kindly suggest the exact Parameter or property to add or edit.

    Hello there.

Can you please provide a bit more detail about the stream:
    1) What is the bandwidth in kbps / mbps
    2) What is the stream resolution set to?
    3) What is the codec of the stream? (H.264/AAC-44.1kHz/FPS/KeyFrame Intervals/etc...)

Is the quality poor continuously, on all devices or sporadic and limited to mobile for example?

This may be an issue with the encoding of the stream from the source (i.e wrong codec) or a bandwidth issue(i.e to large or not enough bandwidth)

    Kind regards.

    Salvadore
