Default Escaping a running Wowza instance in Windows/Cygwin

    Hey All,

Coming from a Mac/Linux stack. I'm running the server locally on a new Windows machine and have it running in a Cygwin window for debug statements. However ctl+c and ctl+z don't seem to terminate the process. It drops me back to a prompt but the process seems to continue to run in the background occasionally outputting log statements.

Is there a key command to terminate or is that not a Windows things?

    Cheers,
    Peter Couture

    Hi PCouture,

Have you tried running the shutdown.bat script in a separate shell window? You can find this file in [install-dir]/bin folder.

Thank you! It's been a long time since I've done any shell work in Windows.
