Default Load .mpd File via https in Wowza

    Hey there!

Is it possible to provide the .mpd file via https?

This is necessary for streaming content to a player on a HTTPS Site. If you don't provide it via https, CHROME is showing a mixed content error. Is there any possible way to do that?

    thanks

    Hi,

Yes, if you create a host port that is SSL/StreamLock enabled (Engine Manager / Virtual Host Setup) then you can reference the MPEG-DASH stream using https://[wowza-server]/app/stream/manifest.mpd.

    Regards,

    Paul
