I have a very specific and very strange issue. I get heavy crushing and blockiness on my video streams sent to my web application using JWPlayer6 only on windows 7 computers with i5 processors. MacOSX i5 processor, totally fine. Windows 7 i7 processor, great! Windows 7 i3 processor, no problem. But when we go to windows 7 i5 computers, it’s maddening. This happens on any web browser, and we are using the HLS stream for this also. We tried pre-compiling the H.264 file into HLS and then using a normal http route with no Wowza, and we were totally fine. Has anyone every seen this issue before or has heard of anything like it?
Guys, it’s all fixed now. I was on JWPlayer 6.8 and I just switched to JWPlayer 6.12 and everything works fine now!
Thanks for the update. This may come in handy for other users.
Glad you figured this out.
