    Default WARN server comment - Missing function: xxx & AS3

    Hi,

    I have added ModuleAVMix module to xml file

    <Module>
    <Name>ModuleAVMix</Name>
    <Description>moduleavmix</Description>
    <Class>com.wowza.wms.plugin.collection.module.ModuleAVMix</Class>
    </Module>
    Then I restarted the server.

    Client side AS3 code is like this:
    netconnection.call("getOutputNames", new Responder(someResult))
    And this is the function that i want to call and written in the ModuleAVMix.java
    public String[] getOutputNames()
    	{
    		return mixer.getConfiguredOutputStreams().keySet().toArray(new String[0]);
    	}
    However, I have got this warning:
    WARN server comment - Missing function: getOutputNames

    Also I have this log which seems normal.
    INFO application comment - AVMixer.constructor: [avc/_definst_]
    INFO application comment - ModuleAVMix.onAppStart No AVMixer config set in properties

    Would you tell me what is wrong.

    Thanks

    Hi.

    It looks like you are using the wrong <Class>path in your Application.xml file.

    Are you building this with the Wowza IDE? The path to your class should be the same as the Package path in Eclipse. Please double check this is set correctly.

    Also be sure you are following the steps in the Wowza IDE User Guide

    Other things to check are your module code for errors. If it cannot compile properly you may still get a successful build but the module class will not be in the jar file.

    Check for XML errors when Wowza tries to load the Application.xml. If there are errors then it will use a default configuration which will not include your module.

    Temporarily enable debug logging. Change INFO fro DEBUG in the first line of conf/log4j.properties and restart Wowza. When your application loads, you will see debug messages like the following if you module is loaded correctly.
    DEBUG server comment - load module: name: xxxx
    DEBUG server comment - add method (method): xxxx

    ModuleAVMix is provided by Wowza. http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....ule-Collection
    And Class path is exactly what it should be. http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-(ModuleAVMix)

    I am very sorry, I did not recognize this as a Wowza module at first.

    But the second half of my post is still valid. Also, please test to make sure the module is working by omitting any custom code, and then starting from there to pinpoint the problem area.

    If you are still unable to get this working, you can open a ticket with support. To do so please zip up your /conf and /logs folders and send them to support@wowza.com.

    Regards,

    It seems like it does not omit the module but it skips methods in this module
    I am using flash builder 4.6. This ide is wowza friendly however it seems like problem is not related with the ide
