Default Live streaming with closed captions

I just converted an old DVD which had 8 subtitles embedded in to an mp4. I can play this file on Wowza and it works fine using Adobe Flashp player. I can also select the captions, that I want to see, when the file is played localy using VLC player.

Is there hope to see those captions using HLS on Wowza as well? Is this something that is supported out of the box?

I know that for DVD, those captions are stored as images. Wowza would therefore need to stream the pictures with text as well.

    Hi Atmapuri,

Wowza is able to include closed captions with live streams, including HLS (cupertino). Please see this guide for detailed instructions on how this is achieved.
