Default Amazon S3 & EC2 Windows based AMI

Is there currently a way to use Wowza to stream Amazon S3 videos on an Amazon EC2 instance that is Windows based? If so, will performance be an issue? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Yes, but there isn't a Wowza pre-built Windows AMI. You would need to select an existing Windows based AMI and install Wowza Streaming Engine on that, and then bring your own subscription based license. Once that is all in place you would configure MediaCache as guided here. Then configure S3 as a MediaCache source.
