Default Can fmle rtmp live streams be recorded as MP4?

We have been streaming live for years and have a lot of .flv recordings - now we need to convert everything to MP4's for HTML5 playback.
But is there a way in wowza to record FMLE RTMP streams directly as MP4's so we do not have to convert them from flv to MP4?
    Any info appreciated,
    ys

    Default

    Hello there.

As of Wowza 4.0 the new default container is .mp4.

If you are using a previous version of Wowza you can add mp4: prefix to the stream name in the encoder to record to mp4 container.
In FMLE for the Stream name use: "mp4:myStream"

    Regards,

    Salvadore
