Thread: Installing fail2ban on wowza server

Default Installing fail2ban on wowza server

We've been getting a lot of attempts to login via SSH on our VPS and the host suggested fail2ban. After installing we can't access wowza, ftp either. The only thing I seem to be able to do is SSH.

I've no idea why and may just start again. So just wondering if there's any advice, or tutorials to set this up right? or alternatives if people use something else?

    Hi Danny,

It has most likely set some strict firewall rules when it was installed. I would start by checking those and making sure that at least the Wowza streaming port is allowed.
