I have setup the trial version of woza on my local machine, forwarded the host ip and default port etc and cannot stream from gocoder, wirecast, or vmix. Not sure where I am going wrong.
Hello there and welcome to the Wowza support forum.
You can start Wowza in stand-alone mode (install-dir/bin/startup.bat|startup.sh) and view the output in the console. This will aid in identifying any issues with server startup, or errors while publishing a stream.
Please let us know what you find out.

Please confirm you are starting Wowza as root/admin, if you are still having these errors as root, please uninstall/re-install Wowza and see if that corrects this. You will find instructions here to uninstall the software.
if the problem persists, please open a ticket with support by sending a zipped copy of your /conf and /logs folders to support@wowza.com. Include a link to this thread as a reference when opening a ticket.
