Default Streaming MP4 video to Chrome and Firefox

I'm trying to figure out how to stream MP4 videos to several different browsers without Flash. Safari works fine with an m3u8 stream. MS Edge also appears to work. But I can't seem to get Chrome or Firefox to successfully receive an MP4 stream. Does anyone know the correct way to implement this?

I've read a bit about MSE but I'm not sure how to utilize it.

Hello there and welcome to the Wowza support forum.

As you noted, HTML5 video playback from Wowza Streaming Engine is supported on Safari for iOS and OS X. Playback is possible, but unreliable, on other browsers and on newer versions of Android (4.2 or later). Your results may vary.

You may wish to consider a more flexible solution:
    JW Player

    Kind regards,
