Default Server start application in stopped state

    Hi all,

I have noticed in my development that Applications are started when the Server is started. Is there a way to configure an Application to remain "shutdown/stop" state on Server start and to wait for an external API call to start the Application? I am using the Application default instance, if that detail matters, and Wowza version 4.4.1 with the REST API enabled.

    Hello there.

By default the application should not start until it is invoked. If you have not configured your server to start streams on server startup, then you should not be seeing this behaviour.

If you continue to experience this, it may be worth notifying the support team. Please open a ticket with support by following these instructions:
