    Default Wowza Live Streaming Sizing

    Hello,

I'm sizing a solution for live streaming with 3000 attendees and was hoping I could use Wowza for it. This is the scenario:

    Stream flow:
1x input from camera -> encoder -> 1 wowza instance running multicast stream -> webpage with player.

This way I would only require 1 instance for wowza streaming engine this way, the webpage/player + the network would manage the participant load

    Is this possible?

    Hello Nuno,

I will refer to your other post and the response I provided there first in regards to using a single Wowza instance:

However for the scenario you are proposing here it sounds like you want to set-up Scaling using Wowza HTTP Origin applications to allow caching on a HTTP Proxies as described here:

Please let me know if I can clarify any of this for you, or if you still have questions that I can assist with.
