Thread: Installing in user directory

    Default Installing in user directory

    Am I missing something here?

    [wowza@iapetus csr]$ ./ --prefix /home/wowza/csr
Wowza Streaming Engine Setup - Error: There has been an error.
    The directory
    does not exist

I'm trying to install in a local directory so why is it complaining about a missing directory in /usr/local ?

I just worked around it by installing on another machine where I have sudo access, and then copying the installation over. There were a few paths that needed to be fixed up in the bin directory, but otherwise wowza started without any obvious problems.

Thanks for the update and glad you got this sorted.
