License Activation Issue without permanent internet connection SR# (189282)

Hi to all,

We have successfully activate the server using temporaly a proxy, but after the server reboot the engine is down.

So for us is mandatory to leave this server from any Internet permanent connection (the production area is under a firewall zone) and your streaming server it’s seems to be looking for a validation after the each restart of the service or a reboot of the server.

I understand your security measure, but please help us to find a way to have a permanent validation. Our production area and the media, that we have and want to stream, contents are so confidential. So is not possible a scenario with an outside connection.

Some log error from your debug file

Hello,

You can setup Wowza Streaming Engine to use a proxy server. The following article may help you with this configuration:

Use proxy server to communicate with license server

Otherwise, we also have a USB license key option for closed network scenarios. Please contact the Sales Team for more information.

Best regards,

Andrew
