Access Stream Behind Reverse Proxy Server

Hi there,

I am trying to access DASH streaming behind a reverse proxy server. But I am always getting the internal IP address / port of the Wowza host. Is there any configuration for Wowza that I can do to access the stream behind reverse proxy?

Hi,

I don’t think this is possible as we just see the proxy host address. I believe the “real” address will be in X-FORWARDED-FOR headers, which we don’t see. Unfortunately there isn’t a standard way for Wowza to handle this, though it is possible that it could be identified via a custom module.
