Recorded video with Lip sync after inmporting to Adobe premiere

Hi there,

I am recording some live streams from aan axis ip camera using Wowza Streaming Engine.

Output format MP4

Recording Options : I used both (Record data / Start on key frame).

After recording the recorded video was ok.

The i tryied to edit that video BUT after importing it audio was out of sync.

It’s really strange that the problems only occur AFTER importing. Outside of Premiere is fine, so there is no problem.

What codec Wowza Streaming Engine use and its campatible with Abobe Premiere.

What else can i do.

I found that the issue regards the constant frame rate.

How can i record the stream with Wowza Streaming Engine but using constant frame rate and not variable frame rate?

Hi,

We record using the parameters set at the source. You may be able to configure the source to use CBR (constant bitrate) which may help, and there’s also the option of specifying a frame rate using the Transcoder. The issue may be occurring prior to reaching Wowza though so it’s difficult to say if these would help. Also do ensure you’re running the latest updates just to rule out any issues fixed since earlier releases.
