Audio/Video desynchronised when use transcoder option

Hi,

We want to transcode some incoming stream. We transcode the incoming stream with the default Transcoder template (“Transcode (Default)”) only profile “360p”.

we want to push that stream target RTMP stream to Akamai.

When we play transcoded HLS stream from our Wowza, steram is OK. But when we play HLS from Akamai, Audio/Video desynchronised and Audio/Video is freezing. It is NOT Akamai issue because we are using a lot of trancoder and different hardware encoders

Hello Vladimir,

How does the RTMP stream play directly from Wowza?

It sure sounds like whatever Akamai is doing to the stream from Wowza is where the issue is, if the Wowza HLS stream plays correctly. The only thing I would suggest checking is how the RTMP stream plays directly from Wowza.

I would suggest checking keyframes that the Transcoder is inserting and that they match up with the source stream keyframe.
