    Default Best way of injecting custom metadata after recording

    I am using the LiveStreamRecorderFLV for recording published webcam streams. After I stop recording I want to add/inject some custom FLV metadata. What's the best way of doing that?

    I have seen the MediaWriterFLVMetadata example in the Server API Documentation. But that probably does not do exactly what I want. I need to write some connection specific stuff to the FLV that is only available inside the Module.

    I probably could modify MediaWriterFLVBasic to work with FLV files from inside a module but I was wondering if there's a better way to achieve what I need.

    I want to be able to add the metadata serverside. Not via the client.

    I don't think there is a way to do it after the recording is finished. You would have to use something like Captionate.

    You can add metadata to a video on demand stream, but this method doesn't write the metadata to the file:
