Epiphan demonstrates integration with Wowza Streaming Engine at Streaming Media West

Palo Alto, CA. October 16, 2014 – Epiphan Systems, an innovator in professional AV capture, recording and streaming hardware and Wowza Media Systems are showcasing their latest AV streaming solutions at Streaming Media West at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, CA on November 18-19, 2014 in booth 310.

Epiphan's streaming hardware, including Epiphan Pearl, works with Wowza Streaming Engine media server software by providing an encoded stream of your video and audio content for redistribution to viewers, no matter where they are located. This end-to-end solution simplifies live video streaming and expands your audience.

Epiphan Pearl streams and records two HD sources simultaneously, including 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI cameras as well as HDMI, DVI, and VGA sources at rates of 60 frames per second. Pearl can combine multiple HD AV inputs and add client branding to create a single distinctive video layout with output resolution up to 4K. It features a front-panel touch screen for confidence monitoring and supports remote control capability.

Used extensively in the fields of Pro AV, education, training, events, healthcare, security, transportation, and in industrial and IT organizations, Epiphan provides video recording, medical imaging, webcasting and conference recording hardware. By partnering with Wowza, Epiphan leverages Wowza Streaming Engine™ to power reliable streaming for high-quality video and audio.

Attendees and press are invited to stop by booth 310 to see the demonstration of this solution in action. Furthermore, Dave Kirk, VP of Product Marketing will speak on the topic of “Using a Multi-Encoder to Master the Art of Streaming and Recording” at 10:55 am on November 19th and can answer your questions live at the show.
