Hardware Requirements for 1000 concurrent connections...

I have a client that has a daily show with about 700-800 concurrent connections looking to move to in house server.

  1. Linux or Windows and what is the best vm setup situation.

  2. Your recommended spec for a server.

  3. Tell me if any of these machines will do the job for me:
